We (I am a member of a Consortium of three partners) are negotiatings with EC a possible contract to perform a research project on use of social collaboration platforms, software and services for business purposes and enterprise development and growth across the EU-27.
Should that finally gets down in paper and signed, it would be interesting to benchmark our two research studies to come up with a more comprehensive picture of what is going on world-wide.

		<description>Thanks for the insight! One additional item that is often missing from articles is the importance of business tweets coming directly from the voice of a high level executive in large businesses or founders in smaller companies.
Tweets help establish a company as experts, and the real experts are the people, not a PR representative. We found that followers quickly get the smell of &#039;fake&#039; tweets rather than genuine thought leadership from the voice of the expert.
